Phil Clark - Principal

Mr. Clark is responsible for the total educational program of Olathe South High School, including curriculum development, general budget, development of general school policies, teacher assignments, some teacher appraisals, the parent newsletter, graduation and senior awards.
Candy Birch - Assistant Principal

Assistant principal and activities director, works with students whose last names begin with H through O on matters of attendance, academics, and behavior.
She is responsible for club activities, field trips, Honor Passes, building calendar, public relations, new teachers, teacher mentors, and appraisals for Language Arts, Library, Social Studies, and Performing Arts teachers in addition to general supervisory duties. She provides oversight for the Professional Careers Academy, South Serves Community Service Email Network, and the Intervention Program. She also serves on the AVID Steering Committee, the Falcon Mentor Committee, and the Student Intervention Team.
Amy Hankins - Assistant Principal

Assistant principal, works with all 10th and 11th students with an IEP on matters of attendance, academics, and behavior. She is responsible for all special education programs, student at-risk programs, curriculum and instructional coordination. In addition to general supervision, Mrs. Hankins manages classified support staff.
She provides direct support for the Falcon Mentoring Program. She oversees seminar, guest speakers, student teachers, registration, open house and parent-teacher conferences, and appraisals for Special Education, FACS, and IT teachers.
Doug Hay - Assistant Principal

.5 assistant principal, works with students whose last names begin with A through G and all 12th graders with an IEP on matters of attendance, academics, and behavior. He serves on the Student Intervention Team. He oversees school facilities and custodians, building usage coordination, fire and tornado drills, crisis management, supervision assignments, keys, and inventory. In addition to general supervisory duties, he is responsible for and appraisals for Math and International Language teachers. Mr. Hay also teaches Astronomy (.5).
Robert Kersey - Assistant Principal

Assistant principal and athletic director, works with students whose last names begin with P through Z on matters of attendance, academics, and behavior.
In addition to general supervisory duties and appraisals of Science, PE, and Business / Computer teachers, he coordinates activities with the Kansas State High School Activities Association and oversees ISS, parking, transportation, school insurance, non-instructional supplemental pay, phones, radios, and building security. He serves on the Student Intervention Team.
Keri Zimmerman - Assistant Principal

In addition to her supervisory duties, she oversees the Tardy Table Procedures and serves on the Reading Literacy Committee, the Building Leadership Team (BLT). She provides extra support to calendar and athletics procedures. She is also responsible for the appraisals of Visual Arts, International Languages and Custodians. She co-teaches three sections of English III (.5)
