Tardies
To help students arrive to class on time, there is a one-minute signal before the tardy bell. Any student not arriving to class on time must report to the tardy table. The student will be given an Admit to Class slip or a detention slip (he/she will be assigned a 25-minute detention for each tardy after the fifth tardy). Teachers have been instructed not to allow students into class late without one or the other.
A student is recorded as absent if he/she is more than 10 minutes late to class.
A student is tardy if he/she arrives to class within 10 minutes of the start of class.
