Dear Parents,
Let me be one of the first to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, we have already reached November, and the days are becoming shorter and the weather colder. Soon many of us will have the opportunity to spend time with our extended families and people who are important in our lives. I used to say that Christmas was my favorite holiday, but it seems as I grow older, Thanksgiving comes to the forefront as a favorite time of year.

So, I would like to use this time to thank all of the people who help make our school lives more meaningful. First, I would like to thank our wonderful PTO and all who support their efforts to help benefit the students. Our school would not be what it is without you. Next I would like to thank the terrific staff here at Heatherstone. The teachers, front office staff, cafeteria staff, instructional aides, paraeducators,
and custodians all work together to make Heatherstone a great place to be on a daily basis. Thanks for being here and making things awesome for the children here. You are true professionals. Finally, I would like to thank the students and their families. You are why we are here, and it is such a joy to work with each and every one of you.
